Chattanooga City Council to Vote On Fallen 5 Memorial

The Chattanooga City Council will formally approve a memorial to honor the Fallen Five, who gave their lives for the city on July 16, 2015, during an attack on the naval operations support center in Chattanooga.

Local artist Norman Lee and Shane Allbritton’s design was presented on the upcoming city council agenda. The monument will be placed near the site of the shooting.

The memorial will features five pillars arranged in a circle. The vote will happen February 27.
