Energy Companies Proposing to Transform Puerto Rico’s Energy Grid

It has been almost five months since Puerto Rico was decimated by Hurricane Maria and approximately 20% of the island is still without power, which has caused hundreds of thousands of Puerto Ricans to head for mainland.

However the U.S. Territory has received proposals from companies like Tesla and Sonnen to help transform the energy grid that was all but destroyed by the storm.

The country is close to submitting a revised fiscal plan and hopes to finalize it to submit by Monday.
