The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Tournament has put the madness in March Madness.
The event has been filled with upsets, as powerhouses like Arizona and Xavier have been taken out early in the tournament. The biggest story of March so far was #16 seed UMCB, who shocked #1 seed Virginia in the upset of the tournament. The madness continues with the sweet sixteen later this week.
In other basketball news, UTC’s women basketball fell to UAB 60-50 at the women’s NIT Tournament, while the men’s team failed to qualify for post season play. The Mocs look to rebound next year.
