Donald Trump Gives His First State of the Union Address

President Donald Trump gave his first State of the Union address to Congress.

Representatives and senators gathered at the capitol. Another 45 million tuned in on Tuesday night to hear Trump’s agenda for the year.

Policies mentioned were infrastructure, prison reform, immigration, isis and North Korea.

“Less than one year has passed since I first stood on this podium and this majestic chamber to speak on behalf of the American people into address their concerns, their hopes, and their dreams. That night, our new administration had already taken very swift action.”

Many representatives invited  guests to join them at the address. The speech lasted about one hour and 20 minutes.
