SpaceX successfully launched Falcon Heavy into space. This was the test flight for the newest vehicle in SpaceX’s armada.
Two of the Falcon Heavy thrusters landed safely back on earth. Currently, the Falcon Heavy is drifting out in space with a Tesla electric car in tow.
It is drifting out farther than originally anticipated by experts, and has reached an estimated distance of close to 450,000 miles. That’s almost twice the distance of the Earth and Moon!
