Chattanooga softball rose up to the challenge in last weekend’s tournament at Frost Stadium with big wins over Tennessee Tech and Tennessee State.

Chattanooga Mocs softball was back home this weekend when they racked up two wins during the Chattanooga Challenge. The Mocs took home a win against Tennessee Tech 7-5 and Tennessee State 2-1.

The rainy weather did not slow down the Mocs when they blasted three home runs this past weekend. Amanda Beltran got her first home run of the season against Tennessee Tech, and Emma Sturdivant got her first career home run, a solo shot to give the Mocs the lead against Tennessee State.

The Mocs take on five teams in the Frost Classic this weekend.
