UTC Revamps Class Advising System

The days of using a six-digit pin are long gone. UTC has switched to advisement holds to give each student a fair chance to register for classes. Associate registrar Rebecca Dragoo tells us what to expect.

“We will be going to advisement holds, which means a hold will be placed on all students’ accounts, which will prevent them from registering for classes,” explains Associate Registrar Rebecca Dragoo. “When you meet with your advisor to be advised for your spring registration, they’ll have to clear that hold before your registration time ticket opens.”

Dragoo also recommends that you register prior to the start of your registration time. Changes can be made any time so that tickets will be available for view in your MyMocsNet account by October 24.

Remember that priority registration for graduate students and upper classmen opens November 6.
