U.S. Students Participate in National School Walk-Out

Students all over the country last week participated in the National School Walk-Out to protest against gun violence.

The idea came from a group known as Empower, a youth branch of the Women’s March.

The walk-outs lasted 17 minutes with each minute representing a victim who was killed in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.

The protest was organized to demand politicians and lawmakers to make changes for the sake of school safety.
