Two UTC employees have been placed on administrative leave. Chattanooga PD issued misdemeanor citations for Associate Vice Chancellor for Communications and Marketing, Chuck Cantrell; and Coordinator for Veteran Student Services, Joe Wiram, for public indecency.
A special investigations unit for the CPD made an undercover visit to the Cinema One, located on 4100 Rossville Blvd. on November 3rd after receiving complaints about inappropriate activity occurring in the theater. The undercover officer observed Cantrell and Wiram engaging in inappropriate activities.
Cantrell and Wiram have appeared for processing at the Hamilton County Jail. Both men are scheduled to appear in court on January 2nd, 2018.
A statement from UTC says that they are aware of the incident and it is under review.
According to Chattanooga PD, Cinema One has been cited for adult business violations.
