Alexis’ double-double leads Chattanooga over Tennessee Tech 68-63

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — Sam Alexis’ 22 points and 15 rebounds helped Chattanooga defeat Tennessee Tech 68-63 on Sunday.
Alexis added three blocks for the Mocs (4-0). Jan Zidek scored 18 points, going 5 of 9 from the floor, including 4 for 8 from 3-point range, and 4 for 5 from the line. Honor Huff was 4 of 9 shooting, including 3 for 8 from 3-point range, and went 5 for 8 from the line to finish with 16 points.
The Golden Eagles (1-4) were led by Rodney Johnson Jr., who posted 18 points and nine rebounds. Tennessee Tech got 14 points from Josiah Davis and 13 from David Early.
