Mocs News Reporting the news that matters most to UTC
UTC Community:
On Thursday, September 17, 2026, at approximately 8:10 p.m., the University will host a fireworks display in celebration of UTC’s 140th anniversary.
As a safety precaution, portions of Mocs Alumni Drive and Douglas Street will be closed to pedestrians and vehicular traffic beginning at approximately 7:45 p.m. The closures will remain in effect until immediately following the conclusion of the fireworks display.
Members of the UTC community are welcome to watch the fireworks; however, all individuals must remain outside the designated restricted area. A map is provided below identifying the road closures and restricted area.
